Tired of the same old dating ideas? Try these
Stop being boring and get with it! Try these dating ideas.
We often get lazy planning dates and stay with the standard option of dinner or a movie. Below is a list of suggestions for what I would consider not first date ideas but suited for second and third dates which might help spice up your relationship as well as delight your partner.
1. The beach at sunset
Take a picnic, a bottle of wine and a rug and watch the sun go down together.
2. Picnic by a river
Prepare a basket of goodies, a chilled bottle of wine, and enjoy the day relaxing in each other’s company. It is also a good excuse to get out of the city and enjoy the surroundings of a National Park.
3. Cook up a storm
Show off your culinary skills and ask your date round for dinner. Don’t over do the candles and music or you may frighten them away.
4. A sporting activity that you both like
If you both enjoy sailing, go on the harbour for the day.
5. Local museum or art gallery
This is only a good idea if you are both interested in museums.
6. Go to a concert, the theatre, an opera, symphony or a movie premier
Take them to see their favourite band in concert and dance the night away. Get dressed up for the evening and enjoy a play, opera or symphony. Go to a premier of a blockbuster film!
7. Go for an expensive meal
Take her to her favourite restaurants, order some champagne and surprise her with a dozen red roses.
8. Horseback riding
Take a trip to the nearest horse farm. Spend the afternoon horseback riding and stop to take in the scenery.
9. Candle lit dinner for two aboard a yacht
Put out all the stops – first a sunset cruise, then a glass of chilled champagne followed by lobsters for dinner.
10. Take to the sky – Go for a trip in a hot air balloon
The thrill and beauty of a hot air balloon ride is a very romantic and exciting date. Prepare a basket of caviar, prawns, strawberries and cream and champagne on ice and take to the skies.
