Why is it so hard for people to find a partner the traditional way these days?

The traditional way to meet people has always been through friends. But what if all your friends are married and they have no single friends? I tell my members to think of me as a well connected friend who can introduce them to eligible successful singles.

How do you go about finding perfect matches?

During the interview and consultancy process with a new member, I create a profile of what they are looking for in a partner. I ask numerous questions until I get a good mental picture of their preferred partner. Then, I search through our database and select appropriate matches. I personally interview every applicant and I find that consistency essential for matching.

What do you like least about running your business?

The thing I like least is telling a member that their date didn't like them.

What has been your biggest stroke of good luck or good planning along the way?

Targeting a niche market. The dating industry is highly competitive and there are hundreds of dating sites. The best thing about my business is that it is never going to be an agency for everybody and I don't want it to be. we are exclusive and selective and that's what my members enjoy most.

What age are most of your clients?

Most of my clients are aged 30-55.
